- pyshapelib Windows binary installer [The Python 2.4 pyshapelib Windows binary installer is a collection of functions for reading and writing shapefiles on Windows with Python. It installs two packages - shapelib and dbflib. This is a stand alone library that does not require the shapelib.dll to be installed. Bernhard Herzog created pyshapelib. I am only responsible for building this Windows binary installer. Note that this build does not have the shptree library. pyshapelib is a Python wrapper around shapelib, which is a C library maintained by Frank Warnerdam. An example of using pyshapelib is available here.]
